A construction punch-list app for site teams. Create projects and punch items, assign remedial work, verify the result, and record handover once all items are accepted.

The app connects each punch item to its project, location, trade, assignee, and due date. Work progresses from Open to In progress and Ready for review before a verification decision. Project handover requires every punch item to be Verified, with a handover note. Reopen a project or verified item when further remedial work is needed, while retaining decision history. The built pilot uses ToolJet Database and fictional records; deployment and download await package and clean-install validation.
Built for Site leads and construction coordinators managing finishing work, trade follow-through, and project closeout.
A construction punch-list app for site teams. Create projects and punch items, assign remedial work, verify the result, and record handover once all items are accepted.
Review active-site readiness and items ready for a walkthrough. The overview shows up to three active sites and review items.
Create a project, then add each defect or finishing item with location, trade, owner, priority, and due date.
Update work status and notes, verify completed remediation, and record project handover after all items pass.
Review punch items across the project portfolio to find trade work and follow it back to the relevant project.
Review verified items across active projects, each site’s progress, and a walkthrough queue of work ready for review.
Start a project with its site, client, lead, and target date. Add punch items with a precise location, trade, assignee, priority, and due date.
Record a work note before verification, then keep the verification note and item history. Reopen a verified item for further work when the project is active.
Hand over only a project with at least one item and every item verified. Reopening retains the previous handover decision and allows work to resume.
The pilot uses 1 table with fictional records. No external database is needed to explore the source app.
| Table | Sample data | What it stores |
|---|---|---|
| Projects | 3 sample projects | Project reference, site, client, lead, target date, and handover history. Includes nine embedded punch items with work and verification notes. |
The app does not upload photos, annotate plans, provide a contractor portal, send notifications, or enforce independent sign-off authority. Work evidence is entered as text notes. Project completion is an internal recorded handover, not a legal acceptance certificate. Reopen a handed-over project before changing its items. This English desktop pilot reads up to 1,000 rows per table; larger datasets need pagination. Access policies, package export, and clean installation remain unverified.
This design is a starting point. Describe the look you want, add your logo and brand colors, or ask for new features in a prompt. Use the starter prompt to build your own version in the ToolJet AI builder, or use a suggested prompt to modify an app you already have. Review and test the result.
Suggested prompts describe changes you can request. Additional features and translations still need to be built and tested.
Choose ToolJet Cloud, or download the application package to import into your self-hosted instance once the template is released.
Explore the sample records in ToolJet Database, then add your records and configure the workflow for your team.
Describe your preferred design, branding, and new features in the AI builder. Test your workflow, then share your app with the people who need it.
The app includes project setup, punch-item creation, trade assignment, work notes, verification, handover, and a cross-project work queue.
The project must contain at least one punch item, every item must be Verified, and a handover note is required.
Yes. Reopen a handed-over project to resume work, then return a verified item to In progress with a note. Previous decisions remain in history.
No. The pilot records work and verification notes as text. Photo uploads, plan annotations, external access, and separation of inspector authority need to be added and tested.
Yes. Use the starter prompt or ask the ToolJet AI builder to adapt Site finish with your logo, colors, preferred layout, fields, and workflow. Suggested prompts describe extensions to build and test.
The pilot uses ToolJet Database and fictional sample data. It is in English with light and dark appearances. Other languages and right-to-left layouts need implementation and testing.
Public deployment and download remain disabled until the importable package and clean installation have been validated.
