An IT asset management app for workplace teams. Register equipment, check it out to people, inspect returns, and record maintenance or retirement.

Cabinet keeps a device’s identity, condition, assigned recipient, return date, and lifecycle history in one record. Available equipment can be checked out to an active person. Returns record condition and location; equipment needing attention moves to Maintenance. Service and retirement decisions retain a note, and retired devices remain in the register. The built pilot uses ToolJet Database and fictional records; deployment and download await package and clean-install validation.
Built for IT and workplace coordinators managing a small equipment inventory and employee device handovers.
An IT asset management app for workplace teams. Register equipment, check it out to people, inspect returns, and record maintenance or retirement.
Review device states, scheduled returns, and registered purchase value before opening the inventory.
Add a unique tag and serial with purchase and storage details. Search the register and open a device for its full context.
Check out available devices, record a return with condition and location, and make service or retirement decisions with notes.
Add people with a unique work email, team, and location. Update details or mark a recipient inactive to exclude them from new checkout choices.
See registered equipment by category, available devices, checked-out equipment, maintenance, and the next three scheduled returns. Registered purchase value is shown in USD, not depreciated value.
Register equipment with a unique asset tag and serial, category, storage location, purchase date, cost, and condition. New records begin Available.
Assign available equipment to an active recipient with an expected return date and handover note. Return it with inspection notes; custody history stays with the device.
Record maintenance, retirement, or restoration decisions. Maintain active and inactive recipients without deleting previous device handovers.
The pilot uses 2 tables with fictional records. No external database is needed to explore the source app.
| Table | Sample data | What it stores |
|---|---|---|
| People | 4 sample people | Recipient name, work email, team, location, and availability. |
| Assets | 8 sample assets | Device identity, purchase details, condition, current holder, return date, and handover or lifecycle history. |
The app does not discover devices, connect to MDM, calculate depreciation, manage software licenses, or send return reminders. Purchase values include all registered assets, including retired equipment. After a detail-page reload, reopen the asset from Inventory. This English desktop pilot reads up to 1,000 rows per table; larger datasets need pagination. Access policies, package export, and clean installation remain unverified.
This design is a starting point. Describe the look you want, add your logo and brand colors, or ask for new features in a prompt. Use the starter prompt to build your own version in the ToolJet AI builder, or use a suggested prompt to modify an app you already have. Review and test the result.
